Scott Leads Golden Bears to Win
A 5-RBI performance from Nick Scott helped the California Golden Bears beat the Fresno State Bulldogs, 13-6. California starter Matt Holton was credited with the win after throwing 112 pitches over 7.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. Fresno State's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

With California leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Scott hit a fastball from Andy Washington for a grand slam home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Golden Bears ahead, 5-0.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Scott.
