Steelhounds catcher Mike Hale left his imprint on his team's 12-7 win over the Kingston Beats. Hale went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for Brighton in the contest. The first-place Steelhounds now sit at 31-19.

With Brighton leading 5-0 in the top of the second, Hale came up to bat against Kingston pitcher Juan Cruz. Hale hit a knuckle curve to right for a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Steelhounds on top, 8-0.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Kingston manager David Duarte.
