In the 10-3 Toronto win over Brighton, the impact of Kazuteru Nishimoto was substantial. Nishimoto, who is tied for 8th in the TLA in triples with 3, went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. Toronto, at 54-2, is 21 games up in the TML LA East Division.

In the top of the sixth, the Blue Jays grabbed the lead when Nishimoto hit his 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Alex Torres made it 3-2, Toronto.
