Mojave took on Estación Juanita in front of a lively crowd.

Mojave starter Mike Vega put a stranglehold on the Estación Juanita offense. The left-hander had complete command of his screwball in leading the Rattlers to a 4-1 win. Ricky Ortega closed it out for his 10th save.

Mike Vega was masterful. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 7.2 innings.

"Mike was pounding the zone," said Mojave manager Jimmy Bernard.

Mojave now sits at 25-31, while Estación Juanita falls to 19-38.
