Cyclones Get One-Run Win at Ohio State
Kenny Wilhite could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Ohio State Buckeyes lost, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Iowa State Cyclones at Ballpark of Bloomfield College. Josh Erickson was credited with the save for Iowa State, his 4th of the season. The Cyclones now have a record of 12-20 with the win over Ohio State.

Iowa State relied on the hitting of Gary Adams to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put the Cyclones on top, 1-0. For the game, Adams had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
