Cowboys Beat Sycamores, 5-2

Oklahoma State Cowboys starter Art Peck turned in a top-notch performance against the Indiana State Sycamores at Canaries Ballpark. The result was a win for the Cowboys, 5-2. With the win, Oklahoma State goes to 11-22, while the Sycamores fall to 16-17.
Oklahoma State took advantage of an error in the bottom of the fifth inning. The game was tied, 0-0, when Jason Mayes hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Oklahoma State in front, 1-0.
Mayes called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
