Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Bobby Sauer the Victory Lakes Crawfish defeated the Kingston Beats, 7-2. The win went to Juan Jimenez in relief, making him now 2-0. Antonio Mendoza took the loss for Kingston. The Beats, now 15-47, have lost 4 in a row.
Ivan Ayala went 1 for 2 with a triple and a walk for Victory Lakes. The 20-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Antonio Mendoza. It was his 47th walk of the season.
