Alvarado Leads Charge, Royal Oak Blasts Hoosiers
The home crowd had a good time watching the Bloomington Hoosiers and Royal Oak Leprechauns get after it.

The Royal Oak Leprechauns stormed past the Bloomington Hoosiers, 13-3, at Royal Oak Field. Royal Oak third basemanHector Alvarado led the hit parade. He was 3-6 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 6. Bloomington is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.

With Royal Oak leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Alvarado hit a fastball from Victor Cardenas for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Leprechauns ahead, 4-0.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Alvarado told the Royal Oak Times.
