The River Falls Falcons powered past the Kingston Beats, 8-3, at Beats Park. Victor Ramirez provided some of the pop. Hustle went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. River Falls reliever Gabriel Diaz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Dan Devaney took the loss. With the win, the Falcons sit at 39-24.
Ramirez contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for River Falls in the top of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Ramirez took a changeup from Dan Devaney and stroked the home run to left. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Falcons to leap in front, 3-1.
Kingston manager Jonathan Weiss said: "Sometimes, for whatever reason, you go through periods where it just isn't very good."
