The Ft. Worth Werewolves had no problem beating the Saint John Alpines, 11-2, at Werewolves Grounds. Kevin Foster, who is tied for 8th in the TLA with a .353 batting average, led the onslaught. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs for Ft. Worth. Ricky Quevedo picked up the win, improving his season record to 8-2. He struck out 7 in 5.2 innings. The second-place Werewolves are now 42-22, the Alpines 13-52.

Early in the game, designated hitter Justin Freeman had a grand slam home run for Ft. Worth. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Werewolves on top, 5-1.
