The Ft. Worth Werewolves finished off the Santa Clara Vampyres, 9-4. Much of the credit belonged to left fielder Ruben Rivera. Rivera was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 3 for the Werewolves. Roman Mazariegos closed out the game, earning his 1st save. Ft. Worth is now 24-40.

Kevin Foster had a big 2-run double for the Werewolves in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Ft. Worth leading 6-4 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from David Larranaga and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Werewolves ahead, 8-4.

"It's still just a game," said Foster, "whether you win or lose."
