The Toronto Blue Jays blasted the Kingston Beats, 16-5. Ben Waugh was one of the hitting stars. He went 2-2 with a home run, a double, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for Toronto. Toronto is now 63-6, Kingston 17-52.

The Blue Jays got a big hit from second baseman Butch Laramie. Facing Kingston pitcher Carlos Ramirez in the top of the fifth, Laramie pounded a 2-run double to right. His 10th double of the season put the Blue Jays ahead, 15-4.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Toronto skipper Bryan Fulcher.
