Pipers Get Clutch Win Versus Royal Oak
Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the San Carlos Pipers and Royal Oak Leprechauns.

Dusty Sullivan was instrumental in his team's 6-5 triumph over the Royal Oak Leprechauns. The center fielder went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the San Carlos Pipers. Edwin Franco picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Willie Aguilar suffered the loss. The save went to Omar Moreno, his 6th this season.

Sullivan had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 1-2 fastball from Willie Aguilar, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Pipers a 6-5 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Sullivan.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Sullivan told the San Carlos Times. "It's as simple as that."

San Carlos, with the win, climbs to 13-58.
