Pimentel Jacks Two Home Runs in 9-7 Fresno State Win
Behind the hitting of Osvaldo Pimentel, the Fresno State Bulldogs stopped the TCU Horned Frogs, 9-7. Pimentel slugged 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice for the Bulldogs. Fresno State reliever Eric Russell picked up the win, raising his record to 2-1. Mike Gorske was tagged with the loss. Jim Weddle sewed up the save, his 5th.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Bulldogs grabbed the lead when Pimentel hit his 16th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Mike Gorske made it 9-7, Fresno State.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Pimentel.

Fresno State is 16th in the Cliff Gustafson with a record of 20-23.
