The Brighton Steelhounds went home winners at Steelhounds Grounds, thanks in large part to starter Miguel Cisneros. Cisneros stifled the Ft. Worth Werewolves, enabling Brighton to grab the 6-1 win. Cisneros, the winner, moves to 4-1. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 2 walks. With the win over Ft. Worth, the Steelhounds improved to 51-28.

The Steelhounds got a big at-bat from shortstop Johnny Magana. For the game, Magana was 1 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Brighton a 2-0 lead.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Cisneros.
