The UCLA Bruins overcame a pretty good performance by Texas A&M designated hitter Alex Mack, beating the Aggies, 9-6, at Ballpark of Shiprock College. Mack slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Bruins sit in 13th place in the Cliff Gustafson with a record of 21-23.
The Bruins got a gift in the bottom of the sixth inning, when they were leading 6-5. With two out and the bases loaded, Ian Dalton reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 2 runs. It made the score 8-5, UCLA.
"We'll try to build on that win," Dalton told the UCLA Bulletin.
