Victory Over Hoosiers Takes Brighton to 54-29
The Brighton Steelhounds topped the Bloomington Hoosiers, 11-6, in RCL LA action at Hoosiers Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Brighton pitcher Serge Bonnin. Brighton reliever Serge Bonnin got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Ramon Gomez was tagged with the loss. The win puts the Steelhounds at 54-29, while the Hoosiers drop to 29-55.

Elijah Bryant helped out the Brighton cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop drew 2 walks.

In postgame comments to the Brighton Daily, Bryant said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
