Atlantics Suffer 6-4 Setback
|
Kingston took on Cuautitlan Izcalli in front of a lively crowd.
The Kingston Beats had to overcome a fine effort from Cuautitlan Izcalli pitcher Cesar Caamano to win, 6-4, at Atlantics Grove. Caamano went 6.2 innings and allowed 4 runs. The Beats, at 30-56, sit in 5th place in the RCL LA East Division.
Casey Price came through with a big-time hit for Kingston. The designated hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Price told the Kingston Citizen.
