The Montreal Royales withstood an impressive performance by Kelowna left fielder Wade Gosselin to defeat the Heat, 11-9, at Eliminators Ballpark. Gosselin was 2-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Brad Chambers picked up the win in relief. Warren Miller took the loss for Kelowna. The victory makes Montreal 6-3.

James Harris had a big 2-run double for the Royales in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Montreal trailing 8-7 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Warren Miller and swatted a double to center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Royales ahead, 9-8.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Montreal manager Jon Miron.
