Arias Lays Hammer Down in 2-1 Win
|
The River Falls Falcons managed to get by the Mojave Rattlers, 2-1, at Rattlers Field. River Falls pitcher Alex Arias set himself apart with his performance. Tony Munoz, credited with the save, is now 20 for 22 in save opportunities. The win boosted River Falls to 48-42.
Arias, who dominated for River Falls, earned the victory to move to 9-6. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 12. Mojave batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Every time I step on the mound, I want to go out there and compete and bring my best game," said Arias.
