Leger Socks 2 Home Runs in 18-10 Victoria Win
The Victoria Capitals topped the Kelowna Heat, 18-10, with youngster Roy Leger playing a key role. Leger went 3-5 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 8 for the Capitals in the win. The win hiked the Victoria record to 9-6.

With Victoria leading 7-6 in the top of the fifth, Leger hit a fastball from Dave McMenemy for a grand slam home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Capitals ahead, 11-6.

"It all comes down to competing and our guys love to compete," said Capitals manager Chris Riddle.
