Rancho Stumbles Again, Falls, 6-3, to Aiken
|
A 4-RBI performance from right fielder Jose Cisneros led the Aiken Thoroughbreds to a win over the Rancho Cucamonga, 6-3. The winner was Aiken reliever Juan Zorola, now 1-1. The loser was Javier Santos. The slumping Cucamonga have dropped 10 in a row.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Cisneros hit a 2-run single off Javier Santos. It propelled the Thoroughbreds into the lead, 2-0.
"We're trending in the wrong direction," said Rancho manager Tony Vargas.
