Craig Steals Spotlight, But Last Laugh Belongs to Brighton
The Brighton Steelhounds weathered an outstanding game by Estación Juanita designated hitter Chris Craig to topple the Red Wings, 10-5. Craig belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Arturo Macias, the winner, improved to 5-2. He held the Red Wings to 4 runs on 5 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 8 and walking 2. The Steelhounds, now 63-29, have won 10 in a row.

Brighton catcher Ricky Negron contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 8th hit of the season and put the Steelhounds ahead, 6-4.
