Maulers Walk It Off for 56th Win of Season
Arlington wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Kenji Sakai, falling to the Martinsburg Maulers, 5-4. Sakai threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. The Maulers now have a record of 56-36 with the win over Arlington.

Roger Cortez was the walk-off hero for Martinsburg. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Maulers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Cortez told reporters after the game.
