Montreal second baseman George Peyton played a vital role in his team's 10-5 conquest of Victoria. He hit 2 home runs for Montreal. Harris Joseph earned save number 1. With the win, Montreal pushed its record to 14-7.

Tom Klein had a big 2-run home run for the Royales in the top of the second inning. With Montreal trailing 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a changeup from Garrett Hodder and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Royales ahead, 3-2.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Klein, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
