Blue Jays Earn 15-2 Win Versus Rancho
The Toronto Blue Jays cruised to a win over the Rancho Cucamonga, 15-2, at Exhibition Stadium. Dan Wooten led the way, going 2-for-4 for Toronto. The winner was Toronto reliever Willie Garcia, now 5-1. The loser was Miguel Villanueva. The losses continue to add up for Rancho, having now dropped 8 straight.

With Toronto leading 12-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Wooten came up to bat against Rancho pitcher Marvin Martijn. Wooten hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 17th home run of the season put the Blue Jays on top, 15-2.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Rancho manager Tony Vargas. "They smoked us."
