Sheppard Shines in 10-3 Kelowna Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Niagara Stars and Kelowna Heat get after it.

The Kelowna Heat beat the Niagara Stars, 10-3, at Brantford College Grounds. Kelowna designated hitter Harry Sheppard led the way. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The last-place Heat own a record of 7-20.

Early in the game, Sheppard had a 2-run home run for Kelowna. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Heat on top, 2-0.

"I'm proud to wear a Kelowna jersey," Sheppard told the Kelowna Citizen. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"
