Trois-Rivieres turned a good effort from starter Brandon Hyde into a win over the London Monarchs at Blue Wings Ballpark. The Saints won the game, 4-2. The last-place Monarchs have lost 4 straight games.
The Saints had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 4-2, Trois-Rivieres, with one out. London, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Steve Garland dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 cutter, he struck out.
