The Montreal Royales defeated the Kelowna Heat, 14-12, at Eliminators Ballpark. Montreal was led by 18-year old first baseman John Ausenhus, who belted 2 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 3. Steve Ramsay earned the save for Montreal, his 4th. With the victory, the Royales upped their record to 19-9.

Tynan Lefebvre, who is tied for 9th in the LBL in hits with 36, helped out the Montreal cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 5.

"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Ausenhus.
