The bat of Jose Monroy helped the Tulsa Titans top the Martinsburg Maulers, 10-7. Monroy went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Tulsa. The Titans go to 54-48, putting them 5th in the RCL LA West Division.

With Tulsa leading 4-0 in the top of the fourth, Monroy came up to bat against Martinsburg pitcher Jorge Arias. Monroy hit a sinker to right-center for a grand slam home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Titans on top, 8-0.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Monroy told the Tulsa Chronicle. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
