Kelowna and Victoria duked it out at Brantford College Grounds and the Heat came out victorious.
The Kelowna Heat defeated the Victoria Capitals, 8-6. Earning player of the game honors was center fielder Grégoire Nguyen, who was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Kelowna now has a 3-game win streak.
Curtis Lloyd swatted a 2-run home run for Kelowna in the bottom of the third. The designated hitter went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 4.
