The Santa Clara Vampyres topped the Saint John Alpines by a score of 8-2. Leading the way was left fielder William Torres. Torres went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Vampyres. Santa Clara now sports a record of 56-47.

In the top of the sixth, the Vampyres grabbed the lead when Torres hit his 29th home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Luis Palacios made it 3-1, Santa Clara.
