Spirited fans greeted the Mojave Rattlers for their clash with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Toronto turned a good performance from starting pitcher Sergio Aviles into a 6-2 triumph over the Mojave Rattlers at Rattlers Field. The Rattlers, at 38-66, have lost 5 in a row.

Toronto used the hitting of Damian Riddle to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Blue Jays on top, 2-0. For the game, Riddle had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Aviles. "The only team that can beat us is us."
