Red Wings Suffer 9-7 Loss to Royal Oak
At Royal Oak Field, the Estación Juanita Red Wings and Royal Oak Leprechauns were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Estación Juanita second baseman Sandy Geraldino had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 9-7, to Royal Oak at Royal Oak Field. Geraldino went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Luis Baca, the winner, is now 4-5. He struck out 1 and walked 6 over 6 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 7 hits.

Manuel Anaya had a big grand slam home run for the Leprechauns in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Royal Oak leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he sized up a changeup from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Ruben Mendez and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Leprechauns on top, 8-3.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Leprechauns manager Garrett Williams.

The Leprechauns improved to 50-56.
