The Surrey Thunderbirds had no problem beating the Tulsa Titans, 11-3, at Surrey Field. Mike Westbrook led the onslaught. He went 4-4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Surrey. The Thunderbirds have an impressive 73-44 record.

In the bottom of the fifth, Surrey shortstop Kevin Aldridge had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Aldridge stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 3-1, Surrey. For the game, he went 1 for 4 with a walk.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Aldridge told the Surrey Observer.
