Springfield Drops Victory Lakes in Pitchers' Duel
The Springfield Sentries got a magnificent performance from pitcher Rey Rodriguez, who muffled the Victory Lakes offense en route to a tight, 1-0 Sentries win at Sentries Park. Springfield reliever Rey Rodriguez picked up the win. Tamaichi Ri, who is tied for 6th in the TLA in quality starts with 13, took the loss for Victory Lakes. Springfield is in 5th place in the TML LA East Division with a record of 49-68.

Springfield right fielder Timo de Munnik helped the Sentries go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, de Munnik hit a run-scoring single off Victory Lakes pitcher Tamaichi Ri.

"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Springfield manager Barrett Jackson.
