Parks Torches Lancers for 5 Hits
Andrew Parks put on a hitting clinic at Breakers Ballpark, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Canby pitchers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Topeka West Chargers, who still fell, 18-16.

"Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Parks told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too."

Andrew Parks grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Paul Strom in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This season in 12 games, Parks has hit at a .440 clip with 22 hits, 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
