The Mojave Rattlers, despite a fine performance by Victory Lakes pitcher Tamaichi Ri, grabbed a 3-2 win in 15 innings at Rattlers Field. Ri allowed 2 runs over 9.1 innings. Victor Molina was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-4. The losing pitcher was John Doughty. The 4th-place Rattlers improved to 52-68.

The Rattlers got a clutch hit from second baseman Jairo Melendrez. In the bottom of the 15th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rattlers.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Melendrez said, postgame.
