Springfield starter Jeremy Koronkiewicz pitched well against the Media Luna Marlins at Sentries Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 9-3. The 4th-place Sentries bumped their record to 52-69.

Marco Orduno had a big 3-run home run for the Sentries in the bottom of the second inning. With Springfield leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Emmanuel Toro and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Sentries on top, 5-1.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Orduno.
