With shortstop Nate Van Buren leading the charge, the Ft. Worth Werewolves defeated the Rancho Cucamonga, 7-2, at Steelers Park. Van Buren was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Ft. Worth pitcher Chris Pirela got the win. He's now 7-11. Fernando Baldovinos was tagged with the loss. The Werewolves now have a record of 49-73 with the win over Rancho.
