Bertrand Now 18-0 After Beating Stars
The Brighton Steelhounds picked up a win at Stars Field, knocking off the Arlington Stars, 5-3. Starting pitcher Moussa Bertrand was a big reason why. Danny Pepin earned the save, his 10th, for the Steelhounds. Brighton leads the RCL LA East Division by 8 games.

Bertrand, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 12 in 7 innings and gave up 2 runs.

Bertrand, who is tied for 6th in the RLA in complete games with 3, moves to 18-0 on the year with 204 strikeouts.

"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Brighton manager Freddie Baseball.
