Fernandez Squelches Victory Lakes Offense
In a tight game between the Mojave Rattlers and the Victory Lakes Crawfish, pitcher Ruben Fernandez was terrific on the mound. The Mojave right-hander helped his team to the 3-0 win. The save went to Nobuaki Matsushima, his 2nd this season. The 4th-place Rattlers hiked their record to 54-69.

Fernandez was in the zone all game. He frustrated Victory Lakes hitters while giving the Rattlers 7.2 innings of quality work. Fernandez threw 104 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 10 punchouts.
