Cuautitlan Izcalli Loses Again, 6-2
The River Falls Falcons got a marvelous performance from pitcher Pedro Carbajal. The left-hander kept the Cuautitlan Izcalli offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 6-2 River Falls victory at Atlantics Grove. Carbajal, now 4-15, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. Picking up his 15th save was 19-year old right-handed pitcher Justin Sessoms.

River Falls used a clutch at-bat from Carlos Carlos to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Falcons ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Carlos attributed the win to "an all-around good team performance."

Cuautitlan Izcalli has now lost 8 consecutive games.
