Getting a good performance from second baseman Eric Picard, the Carl Albert Titans defeated the Lerna Lions, 11-10. Picard went 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Titans. Rich Dowdall picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. James Poling was tagged with the loss. With the victory, the Titans upped their record to 13-8.

Carl Albert took the lead, 10-9, on Danny Riccardi's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Lerna pitcher James Poling in the bottom of the seventh.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Lerna manager Morgan Tompsett. "The effort was great."
