Romano Launches 2 Dingers, But River Falls Wins
Despite a fine performance by shortstop John Romano, the Cuautitlan Izcalli Atlantics lost to the River Falls Falcons, 14-12. Romano hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Justin Sessoms converted his 16th save in 21 tries. Now 58-71, Cuautitlan Izcalli has dropped 10 games in a row.

River Falls needed the clutch hitting of Zeljko Anastasijevic to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Falcons on top, 13-11. For the game, Anastasijevic had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"It's a humbling game and right now we're being humbled in a lot of different areas," said Cuautitlan Izcalli manager Javier Medina.
