The Ft. Worth Werewolves besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Springfield left fielder Timo de Munnik by beating the Sentries, 9-7, at Werewolves Grounds. de Munnik hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The save went to Danny Gonzalez, his 13th this season. The Werewolves now have a mark of 52-74.

Jon Cavazos was 1 for 2 with 3 walks. He scored 2 runs for Ft. Worth. The 21-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jonas Medina. It was his 75th walk of the season.
