The Derby Panthers defeated the Downsview Mustangs, 19-7, in part because of third baseman Brian McIntyre. McIntyre went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for the Panthers. Justin Obert was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was 15-year old right-handed pitcher Ed Hinton. The Panthers improved their record to 10-13 with the win over Downsview.
