Titans Lose By a Run at Royal Oak
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Royal Oak fans at Royal Oak Field.

In a game featuring no shortage of runs, the Royal Oak Leprechauns defeated the Tulsa Titans, 13-12. One of the hitting stars was Royal Oak center fielder Carlos Santiago. Santiago went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The win was credited to 17-year old right-handed pitcher Willie Aguilar in relief. His record improves to 8-4. Angelo Santiago took the loss.

The Leprechauns got a gift in the bottom of the fifth inning, when they were leading 7-6. With one out and the bases loaded, Carlos Santiago reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 8-6, Royal Oak.

"We ground out the win," said Santiago. "That's all that matters."

The Leprechauns, at 56-73, sit in last place in the RCL LA West Division.
