The Victoria Cougars cruised to a win over the Saint John Alpines, 15-4, at Cougars Park. Frank Hernandez led the way, going 3-for-3 for Victoria. Victoria raised its record to 78-53 with the win.

Manny Bobadilla, who is tied for 2nd in the RLA in runs scored with 116, came through for Victoria with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the fourth. The second baseman went 3 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and collected 5 runs batted in.
