Bloomington beat Victory Lakes at Crawfish Grounds, eking out a 3-2 win. The win was due in large part to center fielder Danny Benavides. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. Bill Rangel earned his 13th save in 14 tries. The victory makes Bloomington 44-89.

Bloomington used the timely hitting of Dave Roldan to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hoosiers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Both teams played hard," said Bloomington manager Matthew Buchanan.
